How Chefzi works
Updated 27 October 2026. All prices are from the vendors' own Australian pages, read that day. On this page: The order flow · Set-up timeline · What you need · FAQ
- Send your menu. A PDF, a photo, a link or your GloriaFood menu.
- We build it. Items, options, delivery zones and hours in your local time zone.
- Install the app on your phone or tablet and connect Stripe if you want card payments.
- Test orders. Pickup, delivery and table.
- Share your link on Google, Instagram, Facebook, flyers and table QR codes.
From sign-up to first order
Most venues take their first real order within a few days. Send your menu (a photo of the printed menu is fine), check the rebuilt version, set hours and zones, connect payments, place a test order, then put the link on Google and print QR codes.
How an online order flows, step by step
- A customer opens your ordering link from Google, Instagram, your website or a table QR code.
- They choose items and options, then pickup, delivery (if their address is in your zone) or table.
- They pay by card through your Stripe account, or choose cash or pay on pickup if you allow it.
- The order rings on the Chefzi app until a staff member accepts it and sets a ready time.
- The customer gets a confirmation. You print or read the docket, cook, and hand over or deliver.
- Card money settles to your bank on Stripe's normal payout schedule. Chefzi takes no cut.
